Chloe's Chateau
Chloë Pennington is a self-taught Artist & Illustrator from West
Cumbria who founded her own business, Chloes Chateau. Still in her teens,
Chloë creates her quirky, colourful artwork using fine line pen &
watercolour paints. Inspiration for her artwork isn’t specific to anything
in particular, but prompted from a varied creative background that generates
ideas from almost any subject matter; Nature, Locality, Books, Words, Seasons,
Music, or just stuff! Almost anything is then transformed into her Art.
In the early days, Chloë’s pieces were Autumn & quirky Halloween
inspired works. That progressed to creating London & Queen Elizabeth
inspired pieces. In the past year, her local area & it’s varied history
along the west coast of Cumbria has been her inspiration & locally, that’s
what she’s best known for. Alongside bespoke commissioned pieces, Chloë
designs, creates & manufactures poster like artworks with a bold &
colourful twist, sharing her passion for art & creativity via her Instagram
& Facebook pages.
Chloë was delighted to have been asked to adapt a selection of her
designs into cross-stitch kits for Bothy Threads.
